Since our foundation in 2004, the Clarksville Historical Society has been growing steadily. We are making good progress in our efforts to preserve the history of the local area and provide educational programs about Clarksville and the surrounding area.   Our programs have seen an increase in attendance over the years. In addition to the six programs we offer during the spring and fall, we now have our Marvelous Adventure Tours which take us to local historical sites.   All members receive our newsletter, The Limestone, published four times per year. In addition to information about the Society’s activities and progress, the Limestone contains wonderful stories about life in Clarksville and the lives of its residents dating back to the 1800s. Business members also receive a free listing in the newsletter.   Membership dues provide critical funds for our operating expenses, administrative expenses, insurance, and continued storage and preservation of materials, as well as establishing funds for long term goals.   Please join the Clarksville Historical Society as an individual or business member.
